Ole Frederiksen is the chief instructor of Frederiksen Combative Arts in Nanaimo B.C. which began in March of 2005. Born in Denmark in 1964 Ole has competed and studied in various martial arts in Canada, Germany and Korea.

Ole’s real world experience in combination with formal training such as:

• Military Unarmed Combat Instructor since 1992
• 3rd degree Black Belt in Jishin-Do Jiu-Jitsu certified by Shihan Chris D. Bissett
• 3rd degree Black Belt in Arnis certified by Guro Dante S. Alambra
• Black belt Tai-Jitsu
• Former Police Defensive Tactics Instructor PPCT
• Personal Protection work for ARM Security Services
• Nightclub Bouncer in Winnipeg, MB
• Black belt in the sport of Tae Kwon Do. Former member of the military Tae Kwon Do team...

Ole Frederiksen is a former Canadian Soldier with over 21 years of Light Infantry experience with numerous international operational deployments. This Parachute and Dive trained soldier spent the last 5 years as a SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape) Instructor with The Canadian Forces School of Survival and Aero-medical Training 1999 to 2004. He has served two seperate tours in Afghanistan in 2008 and 2011 respectively.

Along with an impressive list of Canadian military qualifications Ole has trained and instructed at some of the finest facilities in the world.
